Ratesync

Automatically switches your display's refresh rate to match the frame rate of what you're watching. This makes motion slightly smoother and clearer.

Only works on NVIDIA Shield TV with the Netflix app.

Permissions

• Internet: to connect to device debugger to detect video frame rates

• Foreground service: to prevent Android from stopping this app while you're using it

• Appear over other apps: to set the display refresh rate

• Usage statistics: to see if a media app is open

• Run at startup: to start this app when you restart your device
