While some notebooks offer support for tasks, they often feel like an afterthought. In Faden, adding follow-up tasks to your notes has been designed from the ground up. Of course, you can also create tasks on their own. You decide how to use it. By adding tasks to your notes, you not only know what you need to do but also what it's for.

To ensure you easily find things again, Faden has both a lightning-fast full-text search but also several features to group your entries. These include labels, bookmarks, and contexts. Some of these might sound familiar as they are inspired by proven productivity systems like David Allens Getting Things Done (TM) but taken to the next level in a digital format.

Faden is wherever you are. Use it on your phone or in any modern web browser. It works 100% offline, so you never need to worry about network connectivity.

Private by design

Like any good journal, Faden is private by design. Your journal is only accessible by you. No sharing. We know that this might be a deal-breaker for some, but we wanted you to feel safe about what you write.

Forever free promise

The basic version of Faden is free and always will be. With the basic Faden subscription, you can create unlimited notes & tasks and access them from all supported devices. You can also use a limited amount of most of the premium features. So you can try them out without having to upgrade first.

You are not the product

Certain features of Faden are limited to premium subscribers. These include unlimited bookmarks, unlimited labels, as well as adding contexts. More premium features are coming soon. Some of these choices might seem arbitrary (like "why can I only create five bookmarks?").

Subscriptions are how we pay the bills and improve the product. Unlike many other apps, we don't use your data to make money.

Finally, if you ever decide to delete your account, all your data will be wiped in an instant: your data, your rules!
