প্রাচীন সমাজে বিজ্ঞানের উন্নতি এবং শিক্ষার আলো না থাকায় তখনকার দিনে যেকোনো ঘটনার ব্যাখ্যা প্রাচীন লোকেরা নিজেদের মনের মতো দিয়ে থাকতো।

প্রাচীন কালের লোকজনদের আচার আচরণ , সংস্কার এর কোনো ভিত্তি ছিলোনা কিন্তু এর বিজ্ঞানসম্মত ব্যাখ্যা প্রদান করা সম্ভব।

এর কারণেই এখনও অনেক মানুষ কুসংস্কারে আবদ্ধ হয়ে আছে। যে সমস্ত সংস্কারকে আমরা কুসংস্কার বলে জানি সেই সমস্ত কিছু কুসংস্কারের বিজ্ঞানসম্মত ব্যাখ্যা এই এপ্লিকেশনটিতে দেওয়া হয়েছে।
