This book is one of the handbooks for Tajwid science lessons for students. To make it easier for students to memorize the science of recitation, this book contains naẓam (verses of poetry) written by Imam Muhammad ibn al-Jazari. The translator is Munzir Nazir whose pen name is Munajat bin Hanah. He translated and explained each stanza of his poetry into Javanese, accompanied by examples. The aim of writing is to make it easier for students in Islamic boarding schools to understand and practice the science of Tajwid.

This book contains the basics of Tajwid Science which includes Makhārij al-Hurūf and its nature, as well as Tajweed laws. The Tajwid aspect explains tarqīq and tafkhīm, idgām, iẓhār, nun laws, and long and short pronunciations which are usually called mād. This book ends with an explanation of waqf.
