Our venture began in a street food eatery in Mexico – the bustling bars, and fresh, vivacious food ignited our big idea: simply to ‘bottle’ the pure essence of Mexico and bring it back to the UK, unleashing it in a beautifully intimate and unique venue. Our ambition is to revolutionise the well-known taco, whilst educating people about the deep-rooted Mexican culture. We are passionate that everyone who comes into contact with us feels refreshed. The ‘Light bulb’ moment. That wonderful little spark of realization that initiates a beautiful voyage of discovery. You can’t ignore it, it is the language of the soul. We believe that if your dreams don’t scare you, they are not big enough. Our own venture began in a street food eatery in Mexico; the large, grilled spring onions that graced our taste buds were so unlike anything we had experienced in Bournemouth. The food was vivacious and exciting, yet simple. In that instant, the seed of adventure had been planted. It wasn’t just about seeking new lands, but in seeking with new eyes, seeing the beauty missed by others and bringing back the essence of that with us to Ojo Rojo.
