Qatar Masters

Since 1998 the prestigious Qatar Masters golf tournament has been hosted by Doha Golf Club. The annual tournament is sponsored by The Commercial Bank (Q.S.C.) and is held at the beginning of each year as part of The European Tour. Education City Golf Club is a new venue for the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters. Located within Education City the golf facility comprises of 33 golf holes (18 Holes, 9 Holes & 6 Holes) that have been specially crafted and designed by Jose Maria Olazábal. The course was designed in line with USGA standards with all green areas of the golf course including the fairways, greens, tees and rough being USGA Specification. The course will be a new challenge to the European Tour Professionals with a mix of 91 deep bunkers and desert rough when missing a fairway.
