Ahmed Muhammed Muhammed Sweilem (born in Pella, Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate, Egypt in 1942) is an Egyptian poet. He won the State Appreciation Prize in Literature in 2016. Swilam obtained a Bachelor of Commerce in 1966 AD. He works as a publishing director at Dar Al-Maarif and a part-time professor of children’s literature. in the Faculty of Education, Helwan University. Member of the Poetry Committee of the Supreme Council of Culture, the Board of Directors of the Writers Union, the Writers Union, and the Journalists Syndicate
