The 2020 Asia Cup will be the fifteenth release of the Asia Cup cricket competition. The matches will be played as Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) and it is booked to be held in Pakistan in September 2020. India are the safeguarding champions.

In December 2018, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) were conceded the rights to have the competition by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC). However, it was indistinct if the matches will be played in Pakistan or the United Arab Emirates.After the declaration was made, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) mentioned that the PCB change the occasion's scene because of progressing security concerns.Pakistan last held a multi-group universal competition in 2008, with the 2008 Asia Cup.
