Daan India

Daan is a public platform to give and receive charities. It comes from the hindi word, “दान”, which means ‘Donations’. The app is a noble initiative to make donation give and take as easier as everything else is today.

- Donate/accept anything that you wish to! Packaged food, Personal belongings, Wearables, Medicines - you can donate/accept everything except items such as Gold/Precious metals, Money, Cautionable/Recreational drugs, Combustibles/Firearms.

- Daan is not limited to any category, group, or status of people/society. The principle mantra of Daan can be understood by the following phrase:

“Anyone can donate. Anyone can accept.”

- Daan goes beyond the rules and norms of the society where “poor is always the seeker and rich the giver”. Since charity doesn’t depend on the size of the donor’s pocket, but her/his heart, you don't necessarily have to be poor to receive donations through Daan or vice versa.

“One person can’t help all. But all can help all.”
