"Emmaus Centre Katikamu, Is Catholic Institution for evangelization was started in 1990 with the main aim of offering on-going formation especially for the young lay adults in order to help them understand their faith and also equip them to propagate the same Gospel of Jesus Christ whenever they are without fear. This is the reason for our existence, We try to answer these questions by offering deeper and long term formation to the laity so as to be able to stand up to the challenges of this our times."

The Centre has now taken a step to embrace the current technology by creating an Application for attends within Uganda and those across boarders to access the Emmaus Programme/Workshop in a very convenient way through their smartphone.
