While neither Uber nor Lyft offer the ability to get the exact price for a ride through their API, they do provide resources to get ride fare estimates for different ride types. For example, a request for an Uber pool might run between $5-6 and Lyft's line service might be $4-5. At the very least this should save you the hassle of typing in your pickup and drop-off destinations twice. Address auto-complete is also featured in this application to save you time.
