Jockey has been redesigned internally to be faster, more stable, and more flexible. It also has new features including:

- Support for Android Nougat 7.1
- Gapless playback
- The ability to skip songs using in-line remote buttons
- An automatic day/night theme
- Folder whitelisting and blacklisting
- The ability to clear the now playing queue
- The ability to set a sleep timer on the now playing page
- A new repeat option (Multi-Repeat)
