Location Tracker allows you to take advantage of your device’s GPS receiver, and Google’s maps, to trace your location wherever your adventures take you! You can create, view, edit, save, reopen, upload and download your location history, known as a “track”, enabling you to be even more engrossed in your travels and relive them later.

Key features:

- Trace your current location with details such as:

• Elevation

• Speed

• Heading

• Latitude

• Longitude

- Create a “track” that remembers your location over time. Summary information available for your current track:

• Elapsed time

• Distance

• Number of track points

• Elevation min, max and range

• Speed max and average

• Pace average

• Latitude and longitude min/max

• Context menu support for saving your current track

- View a map that contains your track. Additionally, use the map to view anywhere else of interest. While viewing a map, you can also display some summary information.

- Upload and download location history files to/from OneDrive. (Sumascer’s Location Tracker uses the “GPX” file format for storing your location history. This is the internationally recognized file format for the storage and sharing of location data. Both versions of the GPX format are supported.)

- Accessing your location in the background enables tracking to continue even after you switch to other apps. When you return to Location Tracker, you will pick up where you left off – complete with all the position changes that were recorded while you were gone. However, if you were not actively tracking when you switched apps, then Location Tracker will not access your location in the background.

- Optionally, keep the device awake while tracking. At the user’s behest, while tracking, Location Tracker will override your device’s “screen timeout” and stay awake allowing you to continue watching your progress. Of course, you can always use your device’s power switch to turn off your device while tracking continues.

- Elevation or speed data can be charted against either distance or elapsed time. You can also zoom in and out on the chart itself to see more details. The charts are accompanied with either full details of all tracks, or with the map. Selecting track points is possible on the charts and stays in sync with the track table or associated map.

- View details about every point on the current track, such as:

• Time

• Distance from start

• Elapsed time

• Latitude

• Longitude

• Elevations

• Speed

• Heading

• Street

• Satellite/Street hybrid

- Distance units supported:

• Feet/miles

• Meters/kilometers

- Latitude/Longitude formats supported:

• Degrees

• Cardinal/ordinal (N/NE/E/…)

- Map Tracking:

• Automatically re-center map when necessary

• Always re-center map as you move or

• Off - allowing you to control the map manually

- Chart y-axis value options:

• Elevation

• Speed
