MySquadRox!

Social Networks are an important part of our lives and we need a sense of community more now than ever. Unfortunately the people and companies we have entrusted to provide a safe, engaging, honest place where connections can be created, strengthened and last a lifetime has become a place that many have started to avoid out of fear of harassment, personal safety and of course companies that see them and us as nothing but rolling dollar signs of personally identifiable information ready for the highest bidder.

These are just a few of the reasons I left most social media behind earlier this year and while I don't regret it for one minute, I have been wanting and looking for what we were all promised over the last 20 years. Since I couldn't find it, I've decided to try and build something that reaches for that position that I wish others were trying more diligently to meet.

I just want a place where I can interact with my friends and the people I care about without all of the other things we've been told that we have to deal with as a price of "free" services. I don't think that's true for my community and this is how things change. 1 person at a time. I hope my friends and those interested will join me on the adventure.
