Person Locator

The purpose of the app is to quickly and easily locate a person, for example, in a crowd, or to look where your friends are, when they get held up, or why your daughter is not home yet, etc. The app will also enable you to monitor the motion of people, so it can be used for various games, for example, when you need to coordinate the positions of individual persons in an outdoor paintball, etc. We use the app when traveling in mountains to coordinate actions of several groups.

The app is not designed for spying: the monitored person always knows who monitors them, when the monitoring started and ended, and can stop the monitoring at any time. The app does not collect or store any history, everything takes place in real time. The location is determined through GPS and networks.

BENEFITS AND POSSIBILITIES

1. Smart map caching: fragments of all viewed locations (location + zoom level) are stored in your SD card; later, if the fragment is already stored in the card, the Internet connection is not used to load it. Through the use of map caching and Wi-Fi network, you can store fragments of the maps, which will be used to create offline maps.

3. Monitoring is activated by SMS: the monitored person always knows who monitors them.

4. Monitoring is stopped by SMS: the monitored person always knows when the monitoring stops.

7. Background monitoring mode: the monitoring continues after closing the app.

8. The duration of monitoring is always indicated: if the monitoring person forgets to stop the monitoring, the app stops it when the time lapses.

9. Low power consumption: in standby mode (when no monitoring is carried out), the app consumes very little power.
