In 2000, Michael started the independent label, and in 2007 he signed his first artist, Yung Keyz from Phoenix, Arizona. As an influential executive, Michael oversees a number of business initiatives and provides support for artist promotions and strategic ventures for a collection of Palm Tree Entertainment brands. In addition to his role as CEO of his independent label, He is the President of Soulja Boy's Label S.O.D.M.G.(Stacks On Deck Money Gang), he is a nationwide concert promoter (Palm Tree Promotions), an executive producer, author, booking agent (Palm Tree Booking), motivational speaker, entertainment manager (Palm Tree Management) and deejay. He is also business partners with Chris Lighty (CEO of Violator Management), De'Shea Townsend (Pittsburgh Steelers), DeAndre "Soulja Boy Tellem" Way, and other superstar artists in the entertainment world today.
