In this iconic game, RoboTech we are set in a time when technology is highly advanced. The N.I.R. series has come to a halt and stopped production. The last model, Mr robot N.I.R. - 999 is here to be the final one tested and go through rigorous sections of this testing facility. The only problem is that N.I.R. - 999 isn't sure what is the point of all this testing in the face of danger, bombs being dropped near it and mines creeping close. Even though it is a robot he can't find a reason why, after all it is just a N.I.R.
