Vocalist and composer Maher Zain was born in the city of Tripoli, Lebanon in 1981 to a family of musician with distinction. His father used to sing and the love of music was present in the whole family. Married to a Swedish woman of Moroccan origin.

Maher Zain moved with his family to Sweden, where he resided and graduated from the academic stages to enter the College of Aeronautical Engineering and obtain a BA, but he did not leave the field of music, which he devoted himself to after completing his studies.

Maher Zain entered the artistic and music scene by working with many of the most famous artists in the world, including music producer Red One and singer Kat Delona, ​​but he did not feel that this was the field he really wanted.

He turned to an Islamic group in Stockholm and began regularly to pray, which was what directed him in the direction he really wanted, so he began his journey with religious chanting.

In 2009 he released his first album, titled “Thank You Oh God” or “Thank you Allah,” and included 17 songs from different languages ​​of the world, including Arabic, the most famous of which is the song “O Prophet of Peace be upon you” and the song bearing the name of the album “Thank You Oh God”. The album achieved great success in the Arab and Islamic world and won many awards and established Maher Zain's name as the most important vocalist.

In 2010, Maher Zain filmed the song "God willing," in several languages, including Arabic. It is from the album "Thank You Oh God," and it received more than 36 million views on YouTube.

In 2012, he released his second album, "Forgive me", which included 17 songs from all languages ​​of the world, including Arabic. In the same year, he sang the presenter of the program "I love you my Lord", which was broadcast during the blessed month of Ramadan.

In 2013, he released two solo songs, "Love Will Prevail" and the song "Ramadan". He also participated in the album "Colors of Peace", which included singers from all over the world.

In 2014, Maher Zain sang the presenter of the program "Live the Moment" presented by Mustafa Hosni during the month of Ramadan 2014 and it is written and composed by Aziz Al Shafei and distributed by Ahmed Ibrahim.
