Study Buddy was designed to help students from their biggest distraction, their phones! Smartphones have become so dependent in our lives to the point where students are less efficient and study less because they are busy playing on their phones. We at Study Buddy wanted to help those addicted to using their phones space out time in their day to focus on their studies and actually complete their assignments without constantly checking social media or their phone notifications. User set up different assignments such as preparing for an exam or completing homework, and a lot a specific amount of time to that task. When the user wants to begin, they will be taken to a screen where it will display how much time is left and will silence all their notifications. We hope that this helps students focus on their studies rather than on dumb memes they found on twitter.
