  Improvements to mobile session timeouts. Improvements to the Blackboard App authentication process reduce the frequency of logouts and enhance user experience. When Blackboard App 9.11.0 is released (December 2024), users must update the app on their devices for proper functionality. Those who don’t will see a red banner informing them that their session has expired.
