Calligraphy Practice: Cursive

Calligraphy Practice turns any word you type — a name, a vow, a quote, a gift tag — into a calligraphy worksheet you can trace right on your screen. Pick a style, follow the faint ghost letters with your finger or a stylus, and see how closely you stayed on the guides. Built for a few focused minutes of hand lettering a day.

TRACE ANY WORD ON REAL GUIDELINES

• Type a word or phrase and get a custom worksheet in seconds

• Every worksheet sits on a ruled grid: baseline, x-height, cap-height and descender lines, plus slant guides at the style's own angle

• Adjust the guide spacing in nib widths and set your own slant angle

• "Show me" draws each stroke in the order and direction it is written

• A Word of the Day, chosen from a weekly letter family (ovals, ascenders, descenders, joins); the prompts are in English

8 LETTERING STYLES

From upright Print to a steep 22° slant: Print, Cursive, Brush Lite, Monoline, Fine Slant, Steep Slant, Heavy Block and Brush Bold. Each style has its own guideline geometry and a short coaching tip, so you can move from neat print to cursive handwriting, brush lettering and modern calligraphy at your own pace.

SEE HOW YOUR HAND IS DOING

• Trace accuracy after every session: coverage, staying on the guides, slant match and an even pace

• Pen-lift check on single letters and letter pairs, compared with how the shape is usually built

• "Letters that fight you" ranks the letters that give you the most trouble

• Today's practice sheet retunes itself to your hardest letters as you go

• Reach the accuracy bar and the session counts toward your daily streak

LEARN CALLIGRAPHY FROM THE STROKES UP

• Six basic strokes — upstroke, downstroke, oval, overturn, underturn and compound curve — plus a short warm-up

• 87 library drills: uppercase and lowercase alphabets, common letter pairs and practice words

AI NEATNESS SCORE

Photograph a page of your paper practice and get an AI score for neatness, consistency and spacing, compared with the targets of the style you picked, plus tips to improve your handwriting. The app asks for your permission first, and only the photo you choose is sent for scoring.

TRACK YOUR PROGRESS

• Current and longest streak, total sessions and a worksheet history you can trace again

• A weekly hand report: days practised, traces and your average score

• A practice journal: save photos of your pages with a note to compare over time

• A shareable practice specimen card

• An optional daily reminder, only on days you have not practised yet
