Providing services to the people is always my best interest, and this is about our company’s history, where I started four years ago: I was available for friends anytime when they needed cash instantly not as a service but more as a personal favor. Then one day, one colleague ask for a small sum, I looked at him and said you will repay this with an interest. At first I was not really following any business plan or idea I just felt there is a need for this kind of service, and it also supported me to progress with my plans. With time more and more people access my “service” and it was becoming very hard for me to handle. I tried all different approaches but it was just not working how I wanted. I was sad because I could not meet my client’s needs. I even consulted with accountants, advisors and whoever I could but again all the solutions I got was just not what I really wanted or my business needed. Things becoming serious and I wanted to respect my business as if I would manage the business for a large company. I found many gaps in my operation, learnt a lot but I was still not satisfied. I want to find a better way to be transparent, to comply with Government’s requirements, but also to meet the need of my clients. I really felt I want to manage my operation in a different way. I was thinking about creating a website but here at Vanuatu this is not where the market and people attention is, most of us does no even have a laptop. At this point I had the idea of a mobile phone application. Every single client of mine has a smart phone nowadays so this is where my business has to happen. I started to focus all my attention and effort to design the operation of such a system where my business will travel with my clients in their pockets at all time, in a way that its fast, modern, convenient, transparent and most importantly done in Vanuatu way.
