De Vrije Radio

De Vrije Radio is a club of experienced radio makers who have their origins in the world of FM and AM. In the past, our DJs have presented their own weekly programs or played 'marathons' together with others. The history of our foundation is the result of the love for music and radio, despite the challenges of increasing fines that forced us to take a different path.

The founders of the De Vrije Radio Foundation then came together to create a new platform, and so the foundation was born. Now, after a few years, we have gathered a friendly club of enthusiastic radio makers around us. We are proud of what we have built and play the best music 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Every DJ has complete freedom in playing their favorite music, which makes our radio station unique.

Although many may know De Vrije Radio from our broadcasts on DAB+, due to unforeseen circumstances we have decided to end our broadcasts via DAB+. But don't worry, we are still very active! We operate continuously via our website and are busy behind the scenes planning for the future.
