How does this work?

The dogs are able to hear sounds at much higher frequencies than people. A dog whistle works by emitting a high-frequency signal in a range that a dog does not meet usually - typically between 9,000 Hz and 20,000 Hz. The highest frequency of a normal human middle age can feel between 9000-14000 Hz, so do not worry if you do not riusicte hear the whistle. These high frequency tones have had the effect of drawing the attention of a dog. Dog whistles are typically used as part of a training routine designed to train your dog to do tricks or to modify their behavior. it is much easier for a dog to distinguish a tone compared to verbal commands. Different sound patterns can be used to trigger different responses. For example, it could mean a stop two short and one long could mean lying.
