HISTORY

E-VEG was founded in Gujarat by MD Satish Hirpara. he started producing vegetables and fruits followed by washing, cutting and packing of vegetables. This period saw the first contacts with the large supermarkets, setting a pattern that has been followed ever since.

EXPANSION AND INTERNATIONALISATION

The period saw the internationalisation of the E-VEG Group, with the acquisition of various agricultural operations and the takeover of more than 10 other companies in the chain of processing, logistics and distribution. As part of its expansion E-VEG began to set up various subsidiaries.

CONSOLIDATION AND GROWTH

In 2016 the E-VEG company is acquired, followed in 2006 by the Satish with the MAAN Group. As a result, E-VEG quadrupled its volume and acquired a strategic presence in four continents.

FRUIT & VEGETABLES

The Fruit & Vegetables business covers the entire value chain in the Fruit & Vegetable Category for supermarkets:

- Production: growing, packing, sourcing, quality control etc.

- Logistics: export, overseas shipping, import, long and short-haul freight, delivery to the retailers? warehouse or individual stores.

- All related services such as packing, Category Management, private labels and special projects.

- Retail consolidation centres: consolidation points for fresh produce.

- Retail distribution centres: goods reception, storage, order picking and shipping.
