Welcome to this mobile-based self-learning experience. EnglishMate | Confident App is an

interesting way to practice English. The app provides you access to more practice tasks

corresponding to each session that you take up in class. The methodology has three

components: concept, activity and practice. The sessions have concept videos to help you

understand the concepts through scenarios; role plays to let you simulate scenarios and reflect

on your speech; and quizzes to test your understanding of the concept. There is also

opportunity for vocabulary practice through the record-and-compare feature; this feature

provides you the opportunity to record your voice and compare it with the pre-recorded expert

voice. You will find the exercises engaging, and these will add to the benefit of the learning

programme you have enrolled for.
