The smaller the difference between avg , 1% and 0.1 % the better is your game play

Q. Do i need to root my device for the FPS meter to work?

a. The FPS meter doesn't require user to enable root access or usb debugging or needs a pc to function.

a. YES. The FPS meter works across the device. This includes games, apps, camera and media. its an easy way to keep track of frame rates

The application is very light weight, has no impact on CPU. Consumes less than 1% of battery for 24 hour period.

a. Please make sure your device google certified. some OEMs by default prevents apps to run in background.
