In village Gadchiroli, an outspoken girl named Sai Joshi lives with her father Inspector Kamal Joshi. She aspires to become a successful doctor and dreams to study MBBS at Nagpur Medical College. In Nagpur, Chavans rejoice as Virat becomes an IPS officer now and is posted to Gadchiroli. On a trip to Nashik, Virat meets Patralekha aka Pakhi. They fall for each other during the trip but don't confess their feelings. Bhavani, the matriarch of the Chavans, asks the family to find a suitable bride for Virat's cousin Samrat Salunkhe. They like Patralekha and contact her parents.
