HazQuick

HazQuick is designed to provide rapid access to basic ERG categories for quick assessment in a potentially hazardous situation.

You can quickly choose if you are working with placards, or identifying a train car or truck trailer. Pick the tab, then select the appropriate image that most closely resembles what you want to identify. For placards, after selecting the color, you can choose a more specific placard group. Then you will get the full ERG details for the general category. This gives you the basic information necessary to establish initial isolation, determine required PPE, and understand the potential hazards until you can obtain details on the exact chemical involved in the incident.

HazQuick IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE for the Emergency Response Guidebook; it is designed as a supplement to quickly identify hazards and necessary initial actions. Please refer to the latest ERG for full details.

Planned future updates include local emergency contact lists and addition of ERG Table 1.
