Llwybrau Llŷn Walks

Here is an excellent opportunity to experience the intricate country and interesting coastline that is the Llŷn Peninsula.

By following the Llŷn Coastal Path you can enjoy the splendour of the area’s diverse landscape, there are small coves and wide expanses of sand, rugged cliffs, ever changeable seas, small harbours and wild heath land.

You will be walking in the footsteps of the early pilgrims and experience an area that has history and culture deep in the soil you will also experience countryside rich in wildlife.

In its entirety the Llŷn Coastal Path is 146 km or 84 miles long, extending from Caernarfon along the north Llŷn coast to Uwchmynydd and then along the southern coast to Porthmadog.

The majority of the route follows public footpaths with sections on quiet lanes, permissive paths and beaches. Whilst, most of the route is coastal, in places it moves inland and on to higher ground enabling you to see stunning views across the whole of the Peninsula.

Wrth ddilyn Llwybr Arfordir Llŷn cewch werthfawrogi ysblander tirwedd ac arfordir amrywiol yr ardal, gyda'i gilfachau bychain a'i eangderau tywod, clogwyni geirwon, moroedd oriog, porthladdoedd bychain a rhostiroedd gwyllt.

Byddwch yn cerdded yn ôl troed y pererinion cynnar a phrofi bro sydd a'i diwylliant yn ddwfn yn y pridd a chewch gyfle i brofi gwlad yn gyforiog o fywyd gwyllt.

Mae Llwybr Arfordir Llŷn yn ymestyn am 146km neu 84 milltir o hyd,o dref Caernarfon ar hyd arfordir gogledd Llŷn i Uwchmynydd gan yna ddilyn yr arfordir deheuol i Borthmadog.

Mae mwyafrif o’r daith yn dilyn llwybrau cyhoeddus, gyda rhannau hefyd ar ffyrdd tawel, llwybrau drwy ganiatâd y perchnogion a thraethau. Er bod mwyafrif y daith yn arfordirol, mewn mannau mae’n gwyro i’r mewndir ac i dir uchel sy’n eich galluogi i fwynhau golygfeydd godidog ar draws y Penrhyn.
