Planetarium

Das Planetarium wurde von der Abteilung für Wissenschaft und Technik der Regierung von Odisha gebaut

The planetarium was built by the Science and Technology Department of Odisha Government in 1990 with the aim for creating awareness about activities like night sky viewing through audio visual programs and poster shows. It also displays various astronomical devices.

Celestial objects like moon, stars, planets and the entire galaxy fascinates children and adults alike. The planetarium at Bhubaneswar gives us an opportunity to relive our fascination and come out with a better understanding of our Galaxy by the help of shows they are conducting .

The shows are being facilitated for public . Public can buy tickets from counter placed at planetarium premises off line mode. So people come from distance are unable get the information about show timing and some times tickets are not available too.
