UVLens is here to keep you safe this summer!

Here in New Zealand, we all enjoy the sunny outdoors. However, sunlight contains UV radiation which can cause permanent skin damage. The problem is we cannot see or feel UV - we can often get burnt on a cold, cloudy day.

UVLens is a UV monitoring system designed to measure the UV in the environment, warn you of high UV levels and recommend appropriate sun protection. A sunscreen reminder is also included to help remind you when you need to reapply sunscreen.

The app also has lots of educational content to help you better understand UV radiation, how it changes over the day and year, and how it affects you personally. Learn about your skin type, or take a quiz and see how well you know UV.
