Augmented Reality Shooter Tag

Defend your neighborhood playing a realistic augmented reality shooter game. InZhood identifies targets in your neighborhood for you to destroy. Point your phone in the direction of the target and adjust distance by correcting the phone slant. Earn awards and promotions as you hit targets and progress through more difficult scenarios. Miss the target and you have a brief moment to aim and fire again. Be careful because you could run out of ammunition before the level is over.

As you are promoted, targets are harder to hit, targets move and targets fire back at you. To protect yourself, you will need to move around. Targets won’t track you. They know your location from your last fired position. At higher levels there are multiple targets, and they fire at you.

The starting screen displays your rank, medals earned and three icons at the bottom. The Me icon (Blue) shows your overall score, the ellipse icon takes you to help screens and other links. The green on button starts the defense. When you install the game you have the option to customize your player name and set sound and vibration on or off. You can change these at any time by clicking the ellipse icon and then settings.

This game relies on mobile sensors for accurate play. The more accurate, the faster it drains the battery. Playing on a weak battery will significantly reduce play-ability, please don’t blame InZhood for this. Many factors affect play-ability and battery life and like all leading edge games, InZhood works best on the newest mobile devices.
