CWS Mobile Browser

The Cisco Cloud Web Security (CWS) Browser leverages Cisco’s CWS global footprint to secure and protect end-user web transactions and corporate data. To use the CWS Browser you will need an active subscription to Cisco CWS. Please contact your system administrator for more information.

With the CWS Browser, you receive web filtering and web reputation that is backed by the Cisco Talos Security Intelligence Research Group, which is among the largest threat detection networks in the world. Cisco’s CWS cloud infrastructure ensures users and data remain protected, regardless of their location. CWS protects users from advanced threats with Advanced Malware Protection (AMP) and Cognitive Threat Analytics (CTA). These technologies identify malicious files that are already present in your environment and command and control traffic from breaches that have already taken place.

In addition to standard browser capabilities, the CWS Browser also provides:

• Granular web use policies

• Detect Closest Tower (CWS Proxy)

• Trusted Network Detection

• HTTPS Inspection (decryption, performed at the tower)

• Captive Portal Aware

• User Identity Support (SAML or EasyID)
