Dimenco 3D Player

The Dimenco 3D Player for Android is an application developed by Dimenco, to play 3D video clips on a Dimenco autostereoscopic (no-glasses 3D) display. The 3D file formats that can be played (depending on the firmware in the display) are 2D+Depth and stereo (top/bottom or side-by-side). The file naming convention for the display to recognise what type of content is coming in is as follows:

- For 2D+Depth clips '.s3d.’ should be in the filename (e.g. “My3Dvideo.s3d.mp4”)

- For stereo top/bottom videos ‘.tab.’ or '.tb.' should be in the filename (e.g. “My3Dvideo.tab.mp4” or “My3Dvideo.tb.mp4”)

Furthermore, the Dimenco 3D Player can also play regular 2D content. Therefore, you can use the Dimenco 3D Player for a playlist that contains both 3D and 2D video files.

The Dimenco 3D Player has limited playlist capability. Simply gather the videos you want to play in a folder and start playing one of the files, all files from that folder will play in a loop. You can mix 2D+Depth, stereo and 2D videos in a playlist as long as the file naming is according to the convention above.
