Kamayani By Jaishankar Prasad

Kamayani is a Hindi epic poem (Mahakavya) by Jaishankar Prasad. It's regarded as among the best literary works composed in modern times. In addition, it signifies the epitome of Chhayavadi school of Hindi poetry and early 20th centuries.

The storyline is founded in the Vedic story where Manu, the man enduring following the deluge (Pralaya), is emotionless (Bhavanasunya). All these are sequentially impersonated with other characters, Ida, Kilaat and also Shraddha playing with their part, leading inside them.
