In the world Bangladesh is known as agricultural country. Agriculture is the largest employment sector in Bangladesh. As of 2016, it employs 47% of the total labor force. But contribution in GDP is coming down due to industrial growth. The GDP was near about 70% after the liberation now it’s now lower than 16%. The growth of the agricultural sector is also declining which is now only 3%. Climate change, declination of cultivation area with huge population is causing to raise more challenge in agriculture.

To ensure the proper development, modernization and scientific agriculture for the food security of the country the monthly magazine “Krishikagoj” want to contribute with their journalism views.
