Mendel Chess allows not only playing chess with the AI opponent, but with a live rival too, as well as breeding new kinds of chess pieces and use them in the battles.

New kinds of chess pieces may be bred from existing ones. These offsprings possess combined abilities of their parents and may replace them on the chessboard.
