Lord Shiva is the God of Hindus and their other Gods, including Lord Rama and Lord Krishna.

Lord Shiva is Kind, easy to please, and he gives you what ever you ask him — wealth, health, wisdom, virtues, bliss, salivation.

His wife Maa Parvati is the Mother Goddess, and they live on the mountain Kailash, with their son Ganesha. Ganesha has an elephant head. Ganesha is also called Bigan Haran.

Maa Parvati is symbol of power, love and affection.

When Lord Krishna was born in Dawapar Yuga, Lord Shiva came to see Lord Krishna in Gokul, a small village in India.

Jata Dhara: Lord Shiva has long hair.

Ganga Dahra: Lord Shiva carries the river Ganges on his head.

Damru Dhara: Lord Shiva plays Damru (a hand drum)

Nateshwara: Lord Shiva is a great dancer.

Rameshwara: Before Lord Rama went to Lanka to kill Ravana, the great demon, Lord Rama worshipped Lord Shiva in Rameshwaram, a costal town in South India.
