Riyad us-Saliheen of Imam An-Nawawi (English)

As stated by its author, Imam an-Nawawy, in the preamble of this book, Riyadhus Shalihin is intended to collect authentic traditions, which can be pioneers in the path to the hereafter; adab guidance physically and mentally; gathering advice and threats, mental training, moral upbringing, liver medicine, body care and so on.

In this book the traditions are grouped into chapters based on the main theme, for example morals (sincerity, patience, piety, trust, social relations, etc.), polite manners (shame, keeping secrets, keeping promises, respecting guests, order orderly eating, adab dress, saying greetings), manners related to the sick and the deceased, the virtue of reading the Qur'an, the virtues associated with various kinds of prayer and fasting, jihad, dhikr and prayer, and prohibitions related to worship, muamalah, and certain life habits.
