This is the basic game of Snakes.

This is the old classic game of Snakes, like it used to be, old and classic! Simply put, it’s an 8-Bit like retro game, with simple controls that are easy to learn. The movement of the snake can be changed by the on-screen controls, tap pause/play to pause and play the game. Tap on a speed (eg, Slow, Normal, Fast) in the main menu to select it. Tap help to get a basic explanation of how to play the game. The objective is the same as it has always been, eat food, gain length, eat more food!

Here are the known problems:

- The game does not resize correctly on some devices, most will work perfectly. (If the game does not look good on your device, please email the developer. Include: The device name/model number and the version of the game you are running!)

- When changing direction to fast, the snake reverses and collides with itself.

- When pressing pause, the snake body slowly disapears. Clicking play, makes it reapear as the snake's head moves.

- When exiting the game or exiting a level, neither 'Yes' nor 'No' exits the game.

Bug Fixes:

- The game does not resize correctly on some devices, most will work perfectly. (If the game does not look good on your device, please email the developer. Include: The device name/model number and the version of the game you are running!)

- The time in the upper right corner is + 2 the device/system time! (2013-06-22 @ 21:30)

- When exiting the selected speed and returning, the snake stays at the color of the pellet last eaten. (2013-06-22 @ 22:00)

- The order of the screens in the help file is incorrect. (2013-06-24 @ 10:00)

- Snake sometimes collides with self, from the side. There is actually no collision supposed to happen! (2013-06-24 @ 11:00)

- The food is sometimes generated outside the boundries of the game area. (2013-06-24 @ 15:30)

- The controls do not respond fast enough in the 'Normal' and 'Fast' speed settings. (2013-06-24 @ 17:00)

- The game does not ask for confirmation before exiting. (2013-06-24 @ 22:00)
