A new option has been added to the app settings: "Monitor changes in encoding".
When enabled, the text is analyzed for encoding mismatches before the file is saved.
For example, suppose the original text used US-ASCII encoding, but emojis or characters from the UTF-8 range were subsequently added.
This new option helps prevent the file from being saved incorrectly.
It is important to note that, in most cases, the file must contain at least 500 characters for automatic encoding detection to work.
