Thahab

Gold and Jewellery App one-stop shop for all your jewelry purchases

What is Thahab?

Thahab, meaning ‘gold’ in Arabic, is a marketplace app designed to streamline the buying and selling of Jewellery. Sellers can advertise their products for customers to find quickly and easily, and customers can connect to sellers using a range of communication methods. We do not process sales directly, but enable sellers to link through to their own online stores.

How does Thahab work?

Each Jewellery seller registered with Thahab will have a virtual storefront, where they can advertise their products. Thahab generates its revenue solely through advertising packages - we do not process sales or facilitate payment transactions, but instead provide a one-stop shop for businesses to market their products, and for customers to browse.

There are six product categories: Gold, Silver, Diamond, Gemstones, Watches, and Branded Jewellery.

At Thahab, we take security and data protection very seriously, and all buyers and sellers will be required to verify their identity by uploading a copy of their Civil ID, to ensure all users are genuine and trustworthy.

What are the benefits for sellers?

Thahab helps Jewellery businesses and independent sellers to expand their reach and grow their customer base, by allowing them to promote their products to millions of users throughout the GCC. This provides a seamless and efficient way of generating leads, as well as gaining followers on Instagram, which is the number one marketing platform for GCC Jewellery businesses.

The low barriers to entry for listing on Thahab ensure that stores with fewer followers can still market their products to a wide audience. This gives smaller businesses the opportunity to grow and connect with customers that they otherwise wouldn’t be able to reach. Businesses can also add their Thahab profile link to their Instagram page, helping to bring a constant stream of new customers to the platform.

We offer several pricing packages for businesses to promote their products, ranging from five posts to several hundred, plus the option to become a featured seller under each category, meaning that their products will be displayed at the top of the list. Additionally, businesses can purchase a range of marketing add-ons such as banner ads, push notifications, and customer relationship management tools.

What are the benefits for customers?

Customers of the Thahab platform have access to a huge range of products, and are able to shop from hundreds of different Jewellery suppliers from the comfort and ease of their own home. This allows them to compare the marketplace and filter products to find exactly what they’re looking for, spending a fraction of the time and effort that traditional Jewellery shopping requires, as well as ensuring that they get the best price possible. There are a range of ways for them to connect with sellers, including live chat, voice messages and video calls.
