The Association of Africa American Museums shares a common core of knowledge and sense of purpose with member institutions to advance the professional and scholarly attainments of our members by supporting opportunities for sound professional preparation, observing high ethical standards, and providing outlets for research and collaboration that foster improvement of the museum profession.

In this experience, Association corporate partner TimeLooper showcases the power of augmented and virtual reality in advancing immersive storytelling. Through case study examples of the Underground Railroad, the Civil Rights movement in Alabama, among others, TimeLooper visualizes and explains the interpretive use cases that advance consumer education and emotional connection to complex and powerful stories.
