This update puts palettes front and centre, with traditional pigments for value studies and underpaintings. You can also replace the default black-and-white palette in Settings.

Combine Values is back too! It is especially handy for linocut and block printing, offering a quicker alternative to the histogram.

Star it in the Tools menu to add it to the toolbar.

Big update! Value Study’s code is now much more cross-platform, making Android and iOS updates easier for me to work on and paving the way for a future Windows version.

This release also adds optional accounts, accessed via Settings, so you can use your purchases across platforms and sync settings across devices.

Bunch of improvements today!

Many of you have been asking about printing from the app. I've swapped the Add to photos tool with a new Export tool. Save directly to your photo gallery, share to other apps, or print straight from your device.

I've also added a highlight blink feature that flashes between highlighted and unhighlighted values at a speed you control, making it easier to see the relationship
between selected values and the full image. This was particularly requested for use with a

Today's update is small but sets the stage for exciting features ahead!

1) The collections page is now better equipped for multiple collections, not just the current one. We've also added an Attribution tool in the menu to display image credits and sources when available.

2) Browse files: You can now access the file browser via the ... menu next to Choose image. The Take photo option has also been relocated there.
