Wear Dfa Launcher

Wear DfA Launcher is designed for smartwatches with a rectangular format. It allows you to quickly launch any app from anywhere using simple gestures. It can be displayed anytime by sliding the small orange handle to the right.

Once appeared, it presents the applications of the watch in a single list ordered according to usage frequency. Swipe vertically to move the focus over the applications.

This means, that gestures can begin anywhere on the screen, thus no need to precisely tap and no risk of triggering by mistake. Actually, Wear DfA Launcher has been designed according to a universal design approach (i.e. Design for All) and could be suited to some human specific needs, such as low vision or low dexterity. The next version will incorporate letter recognition in order to speed up search in long lists.

Installation :

Install the app on the smartphone. This will trigger the install on the watch. This may last up to half a minute. To finish the install on the watch you need to open the notification you get on the watch.
