Valenzuela Emergency Panic Button is to speed up emergency response in Val. City
A Mobile Emergency Panic Button is a project of Valenzuela City to speed up the response of local authorities by pressing a VC Alert button on your smart phone. The buttons is installed on your mobile phone and connected to the Valenzuela Alert Center or Command center . The press of a button on your mobile used to request emergency assistance from Valenzuela Alert Center handling police, medical, fire or disaster emergency services. In addition a copy of sms message will also sent to your define contact on the preference of your VC Alert mobile application.
Features of Valenzuela Emergency Panic Button:
1. Pressing the button will automatically call the Valenzuela Alert Center hotline.
2. It will send an SMS to the Valenzuela Alert Center and to your other contact with your "Emergency message"
3. It will send your GPS Location to the Valenzuela Alert center and also to your contact. (The accuracy of your location will depend on your mobile location & GPS Satellites position).
4. The "Report function". A concern citizen can send a report with picture and comments using his/her smartphone connected to the internet and send it to the Valenzuela Alert Center.
The Valenzuela Alert Center will validate the report and will send a dispatch to the location.
