Entrepreneurship Development Institute(EDI) Guindy, Chennai, is an autonomous society of the Government of Tamil Nadu formed in 2001 to promote entrepreneurship across Tamil Nadu. Located in Guindy, Chennai, EDI-TN is focused on creating an aspirational entrepreneurship and innovation culture amongst all segments, especially youngsters, leading to creation and growth of large number of innovative businesses, especially in the manufacturing sector. EDI supports, trains and facilitates budding & existing entrepreneurs, MSME clusters, Colleges & Universities in creating an E&I ecosystem, etc.

Rapid, sustainable and inclusive growth of MSM enterprises and innovation by youth and adults across Tamil Nadu through effective entrepreneur competency development, partnerships, business network development, advocacy, training, communication, innovation promotion and business facilitation services, leading to job growth and economic development.
