ACM GIK Chapter

ACM, the Association for Computing Machinery www.acm.org, is an educational and scientific society uniting the world’s computing educators, researchers and professionals to inspire dialogue, share resources and address the field’s challenges. It has one of its chapter in Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute by the name of ACM GIKI CHAPTER.

ACM GIKI Chapter has been at the forefront when it comes to Information technology, Computer Science or Software Development related activities in GIK institute; be it organizing a workshop on a trending technology or organizing a nationally acclaimed IT and Programming Competition by the name of Softcom. Its main and foremost aim is to promote the use of technology among the students of Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute.
