Eclair Touch Lab Batch

EclairTouch Lab Batch is an app designed to group specimens together in a single batch at a collection facility, so they can be transported together in a barcoded container to the laboratory. Key benefits include:

The app guides the collection staff through the digital batching process.

Create a batch.

Scan the barcode on the transport container e.g., chilly bin, or manually enter a batch ID to create a batch.

Group specimens together

Allocate items to a batch via scanning the swab barcode or manually entering a swab ID.

App displays errors when an uncollected swab is scanned into the batch or if it is a duplicate.

Confirm to remove the swab from the batch.

Display open batches

View open batches and the number of specimens in each batch.

Close the batch

Close the batch when complete – batch is ready to be transported to the laboratory via a courier service.

Create a new batch for the next group of specimens.
